Fitness routines can be boring at times if you're doing the same routines for quite a while. Variations are sometimes necessary to add some spice. Also, if your body is already accustomed to the same routine, it's probably not much of a challenge to the body anymore.
So here I am, looking for easy to do workouts (that are not always as easy as they look). For male readers, take note that these exercises are typically for ladies. But no one's stopping you from doing these if you feel like it.
I found some great, not too heavy cardio exercises from Pop Sugar Living. This one should be easy even for beginners. It's not only good cardio but the movements clearly show that you are also bound to be working out your glutes, thigh, and leg muscles. And this is only a 10-minute routine with no exercise equipment required. Essentially, the video shows different versions of the side lunges among others. The routine consists of:
- Speed Skater (much like side steps)
- Plie Squat
- Side Jump
- Arabesque
- Curtsy Lunge
- Fly with Dead Lift
- Plie Jump
- Lateral Lunge
It would be great to alternate with this one on other days. It's also a 10 minute work-out. The routine includes:
- The Matrix (something like squat, kick front, side step, squat and back to position)
- Hip Shifter (side kicks with dumbbells)
- Bent Dumbbell Fly (this is great for the back muscles)
- Repeat exercises 1 to 3
- Basic Fly Core Combo
- Lifted Bicycle
- Core Leg Drop
There are actually other options you can choose from, not only from this channel (that already has 246 videos). I had fun looking for workouts and learning new moves.
Do remember to maintain the proper form to avoid injuries and to get the optimum benefits. I suppose the best one to follow is the fitness instructors in the videos. So let's get moving ladies! (and gents!)
