I'm sharing another infographic on workplace wellness courtesy of Compliance and Safety. These are ten tips that are worth considering, for the benefit of workers in the workplace, be it the shopfloor or the standard offices. Most of these things are really taken for granted because too much focus is given to delivering quotas and oftentimes failing to see how an unhealthy workplace contributes to low productivity.
Some of these, we already do in our company, but I would sure welcome having healthy activities in the office (tip no. 4). That's something we lack here. A really neat idea is to have a small gym inside the premises. Been dreaming of that for quite sometime now, but as it is, it's out of my hands. It's management decision and they have not yet considered that seriously. Well, I'm still hoping! I'm sure I'll frequent that place...a lot!
How about you? What health programs do you employ in the workplace? Do share with us some of your tips to having a healthy workplace.

Promoting wellness in the workplace is really something good. In mine for example, we have weekly badminton games. And next year the plan is to have the "biggest" loser challenge starting Jan. :) It's gonna be fun, am sure! :) Thanks for sharing this one.
ReplyDelete#6 is my favorite! I'm having neck and back aches due to my office chair/table that is not fit to my body type and my height. Now I have to undergo a PT by next week just because of that.
ReplyDeleteWill do this even in my home "office" lang.
ReplyDeletevery simple, all offices could adopt this kind of workplace

ReplyDeletei think this is also advisable for parents who are working at home as well.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this :) Nobody seems to be mindful of having a healthy workplace these days :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the infographic. Will try to print this out and post somewhere near my work table.
ReplyDeletePosting guides such as the proper way to wash your hands can indeed be helpful. Hand soap should also be provided. :)
ReplyDeleteAt first sight, if a certain workplace is healthy or not for us. For just a matter of time, my friend experienced this a lot, he was stressed at work, bullied and feeling down. Until, someone shared us this site http://www.safetybusinesslearning.co.uk about the things we should have known to protect ourselves at work. What happen next is that, I helped him consult from our HR and talked about his rights and how to avoid it. For me, it really is important to know the aspects of employment law to secure a healthier workplace for you.
